Persistence Good and Bad

The definition of persistence is persisting, esp. in spite of opposition, obstacles, or discouragement. We most here of being persistent as a good quality because it means you will not ever give up to get something you want, but what about when persistence goes wrong?

Today I was clowned by one of my coworkers about a situation that happened last year (can't lie it was pretty funny I must admit), but yeah simple story it was this girl that I liked (she had a busband) thought I could get her, but I failed, but after December last year I gave up. Me being persistent was the downfall of our friendship though we are still cool, we not as cool as we used to be mainly my fault, but hey you can't blame me for trying. This goes to prove that persistence isn't always good, it can become annoying and can cause you to wonder about peoples intentions.

Being Persistent in the case of getting a job or getting a good deal on somthing is always good cause you end up gaining in the end... I have a friend who has a very persistent female on him right now (not a good look ladies). A week after, he told her he didn't think that they could get in a relationship she just showed up at his house (some straight stalker $#i%). That is an example of being overly persistent in this case it gets bad, because now he don't even want to give her the time of day to even text him. I wrote this blog today to give an idea of how persistence can have a negative impact on you and your image. Now in the first situation, persistence didn't pay off, but I just did what any playa would do I had a plan, but yeah it failed. Second situation persistence = crazy. So with all that be very selective in what you persist to persue.

Thanks,
